![]() Working on our blog together for years and having fine tuned our creative relationship, we write, photograph, build, sew and can work a room to share our joy of blogging & creating together. Our goal is also to share the hard work of other people who show us their creative outlets; from their homes to their livelihoods. Sharing stories and photos of the simple pleasures of our surroundings and what is going on in our kitchens & gardens to road trips to area curiosities is a blast. Our YouTube Channel has been carefully constructed to give tutorials for the DIY's requested by our subscribers. We spend many hours collaborating, learning and growing. The list of "to do's" has grown enormous but we take our goals serious and work hard at getting them done. Only weeks ago did we put our money where our collective/creative mouth is. Having applied for a copyright for series of our artwork, we pushed through and have developed something we want everyone to have. We believe in our designs and hope our readers, family and friends and anyone who loves what McKinney represents, agrees. Starting with T-Shirts as our first round of available art, we plan to sell these "logo" style shirts at Octoberfest the last weekend of September in Historic Downtown McKinney. We are beginning preorder sales this week with the people we know best, hoping we can give them first pick in shirt sizes. The multiple word style is available in women's v-neck and crew neck T shirts. The McK is available in crew neck only. Both shirts in black. We hope you love our work. We believe it perfectly represents our community and want everyone to wear a bit of McKinney. Future products are in development and we hope the love of our collective/creative process translates into your love too. All shirts are available for $20 through McKinney Cottage at mckinneycottage@yahoo.com. |
