One of McKinney's long time residents, Lisa Love Harris, now living in the northwest, came back for a quick visit to McKinney for a book signing event at Diggn' It! Many local admirers showed their support for this up and coming author; gathering around her for a book, an autograph and moment to visit with her. Lisa is currently engaged in a Tour de Texas - attending flea markets all over the state - junking and promoting her current book. Her next stop: Round Top. ROUND TOP - A huge, bi-annual event in south Texas. Lisa, along with many "traders" from McKinney will be making the haul and taking part in this 43 year old super-sized event. The granddaddy of flea markets in Texas!
I have a couple of clients who have taken their truck loads of furniture to Round Top. I thought I would show you a few things I reupholstered for one of them. Nothing like an upcycled, old chair - those chairs will be looking for you down there!
